It is a modified version of the shortest fully functional fragment of GHRH, known as Sermorelin (GRF 1-29). By replacing four specific amino acids in the sequence, researchers created a molecule with a significantly higher affinity for GHRH receptors and greater resistance to enzymatic breakdown.
The development of CJC-1295 No DAC stems from the early work on Sermorelin in the 1980s. While Sermorelin was effective, it was degraded by the body within minutes.
